Emergency First Aid at Work
In the event of an accident or medical emergency the term ‘the golden hour’ is often used. This refers to the time period in which your response can make all the difference in minimising the impact of the incident. In some cases this can be life or death. It therefore goes without saying that it’s vitally important that you or your staff have the knowledge to act quickly and effectively should something happen. This is where emergency first aid training comes in.
Who should attend first aid training?
Anyone in the business can become a first aider. The number of first aiders required in an organisation is not fixed and would be determined by a first aid needs assessment (depending on staff numbers, premises type and nature of business).
First aid training from Boss Training
We can offer a number of different kinds of first aid training, suitable for different types of organisation. Alternatively we can create a course that is bespoke to you. We deliver the training at your premises, offering a fixed cost rather than a cost per delegate. This is very useful for training a number of people in a cost effective way.
Our first aid courses include:
- First Aid at Work
- Renewal of First Aid at Work Certificate Course (this course takes 2/3 days)
- Emergency Aid for Outdoor Pursuits
- Paediatric First Aid (Medic First Aid Validated)
- Sports Medicine (Medic First Aid Validated)
The emergency first aid at work course would equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to administer basic first aid until a qualified person is able to take charge of the situation.
