Asbestos Awareness Training

Our UKATA accredited asbestos courses protect staff and allow you to fully comply with health and safety regulations. We can train up to 12 delegates per course with category A Asbestos Awareness Training, suitable for anyone who may potentially come into contact with asbestos in their role, and category B Asbestos Removal Training for those responsible for removing or working with asbestos containing materials.

"The staff at BOSS Training were really easy to deal with and got back to me straight away with course information. A fantastic service – thank you!" Caroline Cunningham, (Babcock & Wanson)

PASMA Training

Training for those working at any kind of height is clearly vital. Our PASMA accredited training enables safe use of mobile access towers whether at low level; through the PASMA Low-Level Training course – covering equipment such as podium steps and folding ‘room-mate’ towers; or high level; via the flagship PASMA Towers for Users course. We also offer the new PASMA Towers on Stairs course and Work at Height Essentials courses. All successful delegates receive a certificate of competence and photo ID card, valid for 5 years.

"We regularly place staff and ex-offenders on IPAF and PASMA training courses with BOSS. Their instructors are able to empathise with delegates from diverse backgrounds in a non-discriminatory way. A number of ex-offenders have gone on to find work as a direct result of the training and support given by BOSS Training. We are happy to be associated in a working partnership with BOSS and endorse their services to other organisations." Debbie Clark, Area Manager (Yorkshire & Humber Probation Service)

IPAF Training

The IPAF Powered Access Card (PAL Card) is the internationally recognised qualification for operators of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP). We can deliver training on several categories of machine including: mobile scissor lift (3a); mobile boom (3b); static boom (1b); push around vertical (PAV). Other IPAF training we offer includes Safety Harness and MEWPS for Managers. Courses can be delivered at our training locations, conveniently available across the UK, or at your own premises and IPAF certificates and PAL cards are issued to successful candidates within 4 weeks of completion.

"I would recommend Boss to anyone who requires training. The training centre is clean, comfortable and modern. The knowledge gained and the standard of training was excellent". R. Jepson, (Geldards Coaches)
