Boss Training offer registered UKATA training courses for up to 12 delegates per course. Our courses include Asbestos Awareness Training – category A which is aimed at candidates whose job may potentially expose them to the risk of asbestos and we also run courses on Asbestos Removal Training – category B which is aimed at giving candidates the knowledge needed to safely remove or work with low risk asbestos containing materials.
We work closely with PASMA to ensure only the highest quality training is delivered for the safe use of mobile access towers. The PASMA Towers for Users course (full day) is the flagship course for the industry with over 60,000 delegates trained last year alone. Low-level equipment such as podium steps and folding ‘room-mate’ towers is covered in detail in the PASMA Low-Level training course. We can provide training on both of these essential courses in one day. Our strategically located satellite centres ensure that there will always be availability when and where you need it.
Other PASMA training courses available are: Stairway Towers and Work at Height Essentials. All successful candidates receive a certificate of competence and photo I.D. card which is valid for 5 years.
Internationally recognised, the IPAF Powered Access License (PAL card) is the benchmark qualification for operators of MEWPS (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms). We can train your staff in the safe use of the following categories of machines:
With conveniently located training centres across the UK we are able to train individual operatives and groups on all the above categories at short notice. Alternatively, courses can be delivered on-site or at customer’s own premises subject to facilities and availability of equipment.
Other IPAF accredited courses available from Boss are: Safety Harness and MEWPS for Managers. IPAF certificates and PAL cards are issued to successful candidates within 4 weeks of completing the course.
