This UKATA Duty to Manage Asbestos course provides a firm emphasis on the requirements that the duty holder must adhere to in the daily management of the risk of asbestos-containing materials.
All delegates will become informed on how to best develop, deploy and monitor a successful Asbestos Management Plan, as well as implement safe and clear working standards and procedures, emergency protocol and how to assess and grade the condition of asbestos containing materials onsite.
Delegates will need to have completed the UKATA Asbestos Awareness course before doing the UKATA Duty to Manage course. We would recommend doing the Asbestos Awareness element in the morning before doing the duty to manage in the afternoon.
The course is entirely theory based and includes a written assessment at the end of the course.
