This Confined Space Awareness training provides delegates with an understanding of the hazards, risks and control measures associated with working in and around confined spaces. The course covers the legal framework surrounding confined space work, including the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and relevant health and safety legislation, alongside the principles of risk assessment, permit-to-work systems and emergency procedures.
Delegates will also gain awareness of common confined space hazards, atmospheric risks and safe systems of work, enabling them to recognise potential dangers and contribute to safer working practices within the workplace.
