The NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Construction confirms occupational competence in a specific construction job role and is one of the most widely required NVQs on UK construction sites. Designed for learners already working in construction, this qualification focuses on practical ability, safe working practices, and real‑world performance.
How Assessment Works with Boss Training
The NVQ Level 2 in Construction is assessed entirely in the workplace and is designed to recognise the skills operatives already use on site. You’ll be supported by a qualified NVQ assessor who gathers evidence from your real job role.
Assessment methods may include site observations, photos or videos of completed tasks, job records, and professional discussions. All evidence is compiled into a portfolio that demonstrates occupational competence. There are no exams, no classroom sessions, and no time away from site.
